The World Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPA) Congress 2023 was held in Verona, Italy, from 4th to 6th September 2023. NetPoulSafe partners were present in large numbers to communicate and disseminate our results !
This Congress, as usual, attracted a wide range of delegates, including both poultry research scientists and practitioners, and leading speakers from across the world. Many NetPoulSafe partners will participated. INRAE, ANSES, CESAC, CECAV, UNIPD, UGENT, VETWORKS and ILVO presented their own WP2 and WP3 national results through posters and presentations.
Arthi Amalraj from Ghent University presented on “Risk-based biosecurity scoring tool for commercial indoor and free-range poultry production”. She presented the development of the Biocheck.ugent tool for poultry. A poster on “Coaching poultry farmers towards better biosecurity compliance” was also presented by Arthi Amalraj along with factsheets (on Coaching and Biocheck.Ugent) at the session: Poultry production, sustainability and welfare.
