Project communication at SVEPM conference

Two posters were presented by Belgian partners at SVEPM (Society of Veterinary Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine) conference in Toulouse from March 22-24,2023.

SVEPM (Society of Veterinary Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine) is an event that brings veterinarians, epidemiologists and researchers of animal health together at one place, therefore it is an important networking platform. During these days two posters were presented and project leaflets were exhibited.

Arthi Amalraj from Ghent University presented on Biocheck.ugent –Farm biosecurity quantification with a risk-based scoring system” which was developed in the WP 3 of project NetPoulSafe. The poster highlights the biosecurity status of turkey and duck farms.

Helena Ferreira from EV-ILVO presented on “Measuring biosecurity costs on poultry farms in 7 EU countries” highlighting the rational and methodology of the WP 3 tasks on cost-analysis.
