The 2023 Edition of the International Conference “Agriculture for Life - Life for Agriculture” is taking place under the general theme "Boosting resilience of the agri-food systems". The event was initiated by the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest in 2012, and will be held in Bucharest, Romania, between 08th and 10th of June 2023.
Food systems need to stay resilient to global economic factors, produce more and higher quality to meet rising demand, coping with climate change, soil erosion and biodiversity loss. These are challenges not only for agriculture but also for education and agricultural research, and cannot be solved without major advances in research and innovation. Therefore, the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest aims to continue its annual meetings on life sciences and social sciences, offering researchers, business leaders, government and EU officials the opportunity to share their innovative ideas and research results to address global challenges on a scientific basis.
