Our next discussion moment on the NetPoulSafe forum on January19th will host Heleen Prinsen, specialist on animal health and welfare at LTO (The Netherlands). She will explain and discuss how farmer coaching can help farmers changing they habits, and how coaching can be applied as a supportive measure to improve biosecurity in farms.

Heleen Prinsen has a broad network on animal health in farmers’ networks, science, policy and advisory and health services. She strives to narrow the gap between science and farmers.

Heleen is pursuing her PhD with her research on the effect of coaching on antibiotic use in pig farming at the Faculty of Veterinary Science at the Utrecht University. With her PhD, she is gaining a lot of knowledge and experience about the coaching methodology. She is happy to answer all your questions about it.
