BETTER COST Action meeting

Our Belgian partners disseminated NetPoulSafe results at the BETTER COST Action meeting held at the Agricultural University of Tirana, Albania on June 20th-21st, 2023.

Arthi Amalraj from Ghent University remotely presented two posters on the topic “Stakeholder preferences for supporting measures to motivate biosecurity compliance in poultry production – a Belgian perspective” which was an important finding in WP2 and is being validated in the WP3 of project NetPoulSafe. The presentation highlights the most desired sources of biosecurity information to be “coaching”, “trainings” and “group discussions”.

The second poster was on the topic “Using the Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, and Reinforcement Model to investigate the influences on biosecurity control and farmer decision-making”, a profiling technique to identify the key elements that block change.
